In this video, you are going to learn the method of finding the number of ions in an ionic compound. The number of ions in an ionic compound can be found by knowing the formula units of that ionic compound. The formula units are found by multiplying the number of moles with avogadro's number. The so-calculated formula units are then multiplied by the number of ions that one formula unit of the ionic compound can ionize during ionization.
