This Teacher Incentive Allotment webinar will help districts identify challenges facing small districts with regards to teacher observation calibration as well as potential solutions to address the challenges. The webinar begins by clarifying from the application rubric what are the non-negotiables, or “cornerstones”, of a highly calibrated teacher observation system, regardless of the district’s size. Then, it dives into what challenges may prevent districts from meeting the cornerstones. The webinar concludes with a resource (a sample calibration plan) that districts can adapt for themselves.
