In my first reel of 2024, I want to ask a physics question that seemingly has an obvious answer, but becomes more interesting the more I think about it. I hope to find more of these little things in our everyday life that sparks curiosity this year in my role as an educator.

The idea of absorbing EM radiation is also present in X-ray scanning in medical uses. Our flesh and muscles allow x-rays to be transmitted, whilst our bones absorb them.
